Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve finds us at home in Summerville celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Jason, Maribeth and Ben and the children are here to join us but the out of town group are spending time with their parents and extended families. Julie, Eli, and Micah are in Jacksonville Florida and Rachel, Mark, and Bowen are at home with Mark's family in Bonita Springs Florida.  Becky, Corey, and the girls headed home to Georgia this morning.

We did get an early Christmas present.  We just spent twelve wonderful days with our Grandchildren, Ella Mae and Isabel.  Rebecca and Corey were able to go on a seven day cruise and we were blessed to be able to keep the children.
They just left and a "Silent Night" has settled over the house :(
While they were here we decorated the Christmas Tree
We played in the yard
You never know when Snow White or some other Princess will show up
Watched "Frozen" a few times with a ballerina
Played princess playdough
Chased Isabel
Ella built elaborate towers that Isabel knocked down !
Played with Uncle Buddy
We also got to spend lots of time with cousins Olivia and Wren
Played in the park in Summerville
Went to see the Christmas Lights at James Island County Park and rode the Merry go Round

Got on the rides at the Mall
We also attended the Children's Christmas program at Aunt Mari's church, and saw Mickey and Minnie at a Christmas light display in our neighborhood.
Last night we watched the Grinch try to steal Christmas
Christmas Eve we enjoyed our traditional Christmas breakfast with biscuits and sausage gravy!  mmmm
Then it was time to open some early presents
An Instagram post from a Queen
Some new headphones for the ride home
A teary goodby for Giga, and for Poppy too!
Scattered toys are back in place, the train is on the tracks, the little hands that are so busy have headed back to Rome Georgia.  We miss them already and were blessed beyond measure to have them here.
The manger is back in order, wise men, shepherds and all.  I am confident that the Charleston grands will be rearranging it before long.  I never seem to tire of re arranging it.

We find ourselves very blessed this Christmas.  We trust that this post finds you well and eagerly anticipating the return of our Lord Jesus!  We celebrate his coming as a babe in Bethlehem, the Angels announcing the birth with shouts of Glory to God and shepherds rushing to see the Christ Child in the manger.
We also look forward to His second coming, not as the sacrifice for our sins, but as the King of Kings!

Do you know our Jesus?  Or better asked, does He know you?

He eagerly desires your Worship! Invite Him in.  If you do, He will bring about a newness in your life that will transform you.  Trust Him today!

Remember,  Wise men still seek Him

Godspeed,  Glenn and Jane

Jane is still awaiting the scheduling of her surgery for the collapsed ureter.  We hope it will be soon.  We cancelled our Sower project for January and are waiting on the Lord for His timing for February in Florida.  Your prayers to that end are appreciated.
